We're excited to introduce a special furoshiki created by BLACKWING, a renowned stationery brand.
They've designed this furoshiki just in time for the holiday season!
In fact, this is our second collaboration with them!
We hope you enjoy the interview!
- Why did you select furoshiki? What is the usage?
Blackwing pencils are made in Japan, so we have deep ties to Japanese craftsmanship and culture. We also value sustainability, so the furoshiki was a natural addition to our holiday campaign.
We promote it as an eco-friendly way to wrap gifts or travel with your pencils and notebook.
- What inspired to you to repeat the Furoshiki collaboration?
The furoshiki project was very successful last year.
We sold out of our initial order during the holiday season, and customers asked us if we would be making a new version for the new year.
We were happy to oblige them.
- What are your thoughts on Furoshiki through these collaborations?
We like to say our mission is to help people slow down.
I think furoshiki is an elegant and thoughtful way to help people do just that. Not everything has to be fast and disposable.
Some things, even what you use to wrap a gift, should be cherished.
